Overview:

Employers are finding that, after the pandemic, workers are demanding more flexibility in working arrangements. Corporate recruiters are reporting that, when they approach top talent, the first question they often hear about a position or company is “does that position require full or even part-time onsite work in the central office?” If the answer is “yes,” the best candidates slam down the phone and refuse to talk. Research reports that workers are willing to take as much as 20 percent cuts in pay if they can work from home. There are many reasons why: the cost of childcare; the cost of eldercare; the cost of work-related business attire; the time and expense required for commuting; and much more. So, what should employers do? What is meant by the so-called “flexible work environment,” and how can an employer offer these new work arrangements while experiencing reduced turnover, increasing worker productivity, and increasing ease in recruiting top talent? Hear the answer to this question in this online seminar.
